Warner Bros., the studio behind the blockbuster superhero movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” is looking to release the film “Darkest Darkness Falls” in the fall.
It will be Warner Bros.’ first release of a new DC superhero film since the release of the superhero film “Justice League: Part One” in 2016.
The movie will be released on Aug. 12, 2019.
In a press release, Warner Bros./DC Entertainment President Kevin Tsujihara said the studio will release the movie “as soon as possible” after “the full story” of the movie is finished.
The film will also feature some new DC characters that have yet to be revealed.
The release date for the film has not been announced.
The Warner Bros.-DC movie “Justice Leaguers” is set to open on July 17, 2019, followed by the “Darkfall” movie, which will open on Aug 12, 2020.
It is expected that “Dark-Fall” will be the first DC superhero movie to be released in the United States since Warner Bros/DC Entertainment “Justice” in August of 2017.
“Dark Falls” will mark the second DC movie that is expected to open in the U.S. after the “Batman” movie “Dawn of Justice.”
In 2019, Warner/DC announced the release date of “Dark Fall” will take place on June 11, 2020, a day after the release day of “Batman V Superman: Part Two” on June 14, 2020 and three days after the end of the first “Justice Forever” movie.
“Justice is back, and he’s bringing his Darkest Falls to the big screen!
We’re excited to bring this story to theaters in 2019,” said DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns.
“The Darkest Darkness is a cinematic journey of a group of heroes who have lost their powers in the wake of the global pandemic, but have to fight to reclaim their lives.
“We can’t wait to see this movie come to life and to share it with the world.” “
Batman will be joining his team of rogues, spies, and other heroes, including Harley Quinn and The Penguin, to help the Darkest Fall take on the forces of evil,” said Warner Bros’ Amy Pascal.
“We can’t wait to see this movie come to life and to share it with the world.”
“Dark falls” will also be the second movie from DC Comics to be filmed in 3D and feature CGI.
“In a world where heroes are afraid to walk alone, a team of the most dangerous and enigmatic heroes are coming together to take down the greatest threat of our time: the Darkfall, a deadly plague that has spread across the universe.
When Darkfall spreads, humanity is doomed to a new day of darkness.
We are the greatest heroes, and the Dark Falls are here to stop us,” said Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind the film.
“From the very beginning, Warner Brothers has wanted to bring the DC Universe to the screen, and Dark Falls will be their first film to be seen in 3-D, and we can’t imagine a more exciting and groundbreaking moment for our fans,” said Michael De Luca, DC Entertainment chairman and CEO.
“I know the fans will love Dark Falls, and they will be thrilled to see the world of the DC universe come to the small screen,” said Snyder.
The “DarkFall” movie will also include the debut of an all-new Superman villain, a new version of Lex Luthor and a new, more-powerful version of the villain Lex Luthor from “The Man of Steel.”
The Warner/Comics film will be directed by Ryan Coogler, whose previous credits include the upcoming film “American Sniper” and the new “Sucker Punch.”
“Batman is back!
We are thrilled to be releasing our second film in 2019 with Zack Snyder as the director, and I am excited to work with Ryan on this film that will explore the dark and mysterious world of Superman, Batman, and their world,” said Kevin Tsukiyama, president of Warner Bros Pictures.
“As DC Entertainment continues to grow, I am confident that we will be able to bring films from the world’s greatest superheroes to audiences across the globe.
Dark Falls is one of the biggest stories of the year and I look forward to working with Ryan Coop and Warner Bros to bring fans the most exciting, original, and ambitious stories of our shared universe,” said Tsukiyu.
